Enfant, il c\u00f4toie des marins dans le salon de sa grand m\u00e8re, qui partagent tant\u00f4t leur manque de rep\u00e8re terrestre, tant\u00f4t leur manque de rep\u00e8res maritimes. La graine est jet\u00e9e. Le d\u00e9fi est de taille: cr\u00e9er un whisky qui rappellerait l&rsquo;odeur de la terre aux marins et les embruns aux \u00ab\u00a0terriens\u00a0\u00bb \ud83d\ude00 . Il faudra attendre encore quelques ann\u00e9es avant de go\u00fbter \u00ab\u00a0Le Guip \u00ab\u00a0. Le Guip, c&rsquo;est le nom d&rsquo;un chantier naval Brestois dont Yann Mauffret, b\u00e2tisseur de navires, en est directeur. Leur point commun ?\u00a0 Leur qu\u00eate perp\u00e9tuelle de bois nobles pour construire des navires ou faire vieillir de l&rsquo;eau de vie de Malt.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr style=\"height: 70px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 70px;\">Description<\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 70px;\">Issus de l&rsquo;association de la maison Benjamin Kuentz et de la <a href=\"https:\/\/whisky-francais.com\/index.php\/distilleries\/warenghem\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">distillerie Warenghem<\/a>. Ce single cask l\u00e9g\u00e8rement tourn\u00e9 (6 ppm) a vieilli 8 ans dans un f\u00fbt de bourbon dans les chais de la distillerie de Lannion.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 41px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 41px;\">Couleur<\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 41px;\">Paille claire.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 128.5px;\">\n<td style=\"height: 128.5px;\">1er Nez<\/td>\n<td style=\"height: 128.5px;\">Tr\u00e8s frais, les notes de malt et de c\u00e9r\u00e9ales pr\u00e9c\u00e8dent des<strong> ar\u00f4mes de miel, de citron<\/strong> et de melon d&rsquo;eau. Une pointe de jasmin se r\u00e9v\u00e8le en fond. Une belle min\u00e9ralit\u00e9 structure l&rsquo;ensemble. De<strong> l\u00e9gers ar\u00f4mes de chocolat blanc<\/strong> s&rsquo;invitent \u00e0 la d\u00e9gustation.
