Yanick Hepp, directeur et mai\u0302tre-distillateur du lieu, nous en dit davantage sur son me\u0301tier et l\u2019histoire d\u2019une distillerie qui a su se re\u0301inventer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hepp, une histoire de g\u00e9n\u00e9rations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab Je suis issu d\u2019une famille de distillateurs dont les ance\u0302tres e\u0301taient bouilleurs de cru. L\u2019activite\u0301 de la distillerie de\u0301buta avec mon grand-pe\u0300re. En 1970, une semaine avant le retour de service militaire de mon pe\u0300re, mon grand pe\u0300re acquis un alambic. <strong>La distillerie fut cre\u0301e\u0301e en 1972<\/strong>, a\u0300 la suite de cet achat. Situe\u0301 dans la cour de la distillerie, cet alambic te\u0301moigne d\u2019un passe\u0301 encore re\u0301cent.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019e\u0301tais e\u0301colier quand j\u2019ai de\u0301bute\u0301 mon travail a\u0300 la distillerie. Mon grand-pe\u0300re m\u2019a beaucoup appris sur ce me\u0301tier si bien que<strong> je savais de\u0301ja\u0300 distiller a\u0300 l\u2019a\u0302ge de 14 ans. C\u2019est une histoire a\u0300 la Obe\u0301lix, je suis tombe\u0301 tre\u0300s jeune dans le tonneau !<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les anne\u0301es 1990 marque\u0300rent un premier cycle de modernisation de la distillerie, comple\u0301te\u0301 en 2003 par la re\u0301novation des ba\u0302timents.
