Apr\u00e8s une formation en 2011 au Mus\u00e9e fran\u00e7ais de la brasserie en Lorraine, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric met en \u0153uvre son projet et commercialise ses bi\u00e8res sous la marque JEUNE GUEULE avec une premi\u00e8re bi\u00e8re, une Red Ale nomm\u00e9e L\u2019orpailleuse. Le succ\u00e8s est au rendez-vous, les bi\u00e8res se multiplient (We\u00efty une bi\u00e8re blanche, Blaka une Stout, etc.) et d\u00e8s 2014, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric entame une modernisation de la brasserie et augmente ses capacit\u00e9s de production !<\/p>\n<p>En 2015, lors d\u2019un passage dans l\u2019hexagone, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric assiste \u00e0 une conf\u00e9rence au Salon du Brasseur \u00e0 Saint-Nicolas de port. Anim\u00e9 par l\u2019incontournable Philippe Jug\u00e9, il y est question du lien entre brasseries et distilleries et de l\u2019avantage tactique que repr\u00e9sente la ma\u00eetrise de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape lorsqu\u2019on souhaite se lancer dans le whisky. Apr\u00e8s tout, le whisky est une bi\u00e8re distill\u00e9e (sous r\u00e9serve de se passer du houblon bien entendu !)<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0 que l\u2019id\u00e9e de produire du whisky se concr\u00e9tise. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric approche la cinquantaine et il est passionn\u00e9 de whisky depuis longtemps ! C\u00f4t\u00e9 vieillissement, la brasserie a nou\u00e9 des partenariats avec la distillerie des rhums Saint-Maurice, derni\u00e8re distillerie encore fumante de Guyane Fran\u00e7aise et principalement connue pour son rhum La Belle Cabresse. L\u2019objectif\u00a0? utiliser des ex F\u00fbt de rhum vieux pour la maturation du whisky\u00a0!
